C6 foundations. These will still be of the drilled pier type. The research program at UWA is of the longer term variety and not specifically (only) linked to C6. Having Oil and Gas as well as CWE in your UWA research grant applications certainly increases justification and success. My estimate is 4 to 8 years.

I specifically asked about recent EDF engagement. After explaining how EDF functions MO said they are waiting for the CWE commercial product. All very sensible, and since EDF also have committed interests in other renewable generators, their options are very open.
