Must agree with U.T , this tax was beyond the ridiculous .
Costs on a new subdivision block including all the taxes ( on all levels ) is now around $55,000 per block , as the price of broad acres steady increases , they just went up again overnight ..If you can get one!
So for those who think that in some magical fashion you will somehow find a " Cheap " block ok land , and the price will fall , unfortunately have rocks in their head . I speak of Melbourne , and surrounds , dont know the situation in other States .
