on tv last night, there was a small segment about the use of melotonin to help kids with some problems, get a better night sleep - which in the end helped with day time behaviours.
years ago, when watso did some shift work, watso sparingly used a tablet called restavit - which was available over the counter.
watso had a quick look on the net, and it seems that melotonin is a natural hormone (or whatever), produced by the body.
it looks like melotonin is available over the counter... mmmm well, maybe not because from the abc website
http://www.abc.net.au/radionational/programs/scienceshow/melatonin-for-jet-lag/2915560
"Melatonin can be sold in the US and other places, but not Australia."
but lots of melotinin is available from
http://www.myshopping.com.au/PT--209_Vitamins_and_Nutrition_Melatonin__fs_43869_e__
mmmm - from the comments in the abc website, it seems that people can buy the product in australia
anyway, for people with a sleeping problem, it might be worth checking out
