re: Melt Down - again - PER RULES AGAIN Ajax if I recall (my memory is wonky, even HRT double strength patches not much help these days) the PEs in Japan were sky high; explanations as to why that didn't matter, why Japan was different were along the lines of "tightly held stock", "cross holdings", etc etc - always a reason but really, when U get down to it why should any stock be worth more than PE 10 that's what I want to know.
