Yep, the greens are jumping for joy and hoping for the worst. But don't worry, this will backfire badly on the greens.

These reactors have copped a 9 magnitude quake, aftershocks, complete shutdown of the cooling system, 10m tsunamis, massive explosions, prolonged fuel rod exposure to air, partial meltdown, seawater dumps, etc etc etc.

If they survive intact they will be haled as the reactors that saved Japan (and considered safe for anywhere).

Their maker - GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy and the plant operators will be honored with medals accordingly.

The greens might be big with their mouths - but in times of trouble you could not even rely on them to engineer their way out of a wet paper bag!
