re: meltdown!! alpha Forrest gump we need those gun traders to increase volumes - keep brokerage costs down (online traders make a lot of $$$ from em) and to slowly push the price up over the longer term.
I have engaged in both short term trading and long term investment so i can see benefits from both strategies.
Then there is the medium term but i am a lot calmer these days though.
