Well to you I say stop being so bitter about your losses on this stock and get back in while you can. I agree with melua, at this price and discount to net assets its a steal and will pay off nicely in the future.

... and even if you are right and they dont renew dividends until they have paid off debt (which is not necessariyl a good idea) the net result of this is still INCREASING NET ASSET VALUE (just for you dargie accounting 101 for dummies: less debt = more shareholders equity = increase in bbi share price all else being equal).
