Basically the guy was there a lot. He was reported to be a big spender in a bar in Angeles (Pony Tails) as stated by the mamasan in earlier articles. Pony Tails is a haunt for whore mongers who traffic women for sex.
Turnbull called him out and the AFP did a lot of work on this and notified the PM of possible criminal activity and the potential for blackmail and compromise. Turnbull claimed in his book that when he discussed this he was told that said member had 3 years left in Parliament with Parliamentary privilege. A "threat", who knows.
