I've no idea why someone would confuse Russia with socialism and what is now organised crime
Russia has a long long history of tragedy - it's just a plain vanilla tragic place, lurching from tragedy to tragedy
instead of looking for some cheap shot at socialism - one might more want to study Russian history - because it seems that no matter what they do - it ended up ugly.
If you want to look at what communism has done for the world - go look at the changes that the Communist party in France brought to the world prior to and after WW2
much of your quality of life was brought in directly from the Communist party in that period.
