Context. The first Christians expected to see the Kingdom of God on Earth in their lifetimes.
Mark 1:15 - And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the good news = (Flesh)..
Luke 17:21 - Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
Matt 12:28 - But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you.
