An article in the Australian today discusses the severe implications of Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Regulation 27/2013 which clarifies 2009 Mining Law and imposes further procedures for the divestment of shares and other requirements for foreign mining ownership in Indonesia:

It indicates that the divestment and pricing procedures under the 2009 mining law will override those applying to pre-existing COWs.

I'm sure I remember that some time back Sihayo stated that this new legislation would not affect them adversely, however does anyone know if this new MEMR 27/2013 changes that position?
