Plenty of matters there with direct economic impact on Australia and Australians Sidonicus.

Freedom of sea navigation is vital to Australia as a large island continent and as leading export nation so many of our exports going to their destinations by sea; failure to aid freedom of navigation exercises in the Red Sea has a direct impact not only on our credibility as a nation but also on costs.

Likewise and even more immediately and obviously, the water front dispute which is ongoing and which the Labor Government has done next to nothing to mediate or end is causing very significant losses to businesses and stock shortfalls which also signals revenue loss, these costs to hit Australian consumers soon enough.

Add to that, the changes to the Stage 3 tax cuts deliver a short term benefit to millions but the failure to deal with structural reform of the tax brackets ( as allowed for under the Stage 3 tax cuts ) will, according to The Australian's ( Political Editor) Simon Benson and ( Canebrra Bureau Chef ) Greg Brown, mean that Anthony Albanese’s broken tax pledge would return less than 10 per cent of the real disposable income average earners have lost per week, as a leading economist warns bracket creep is more damaging to workers than interest rate hikes, that article in today's edition of The Australian. In short, a sugar hit but no reform of the tax system meaning that over coming years millions of Australians will be paying much more tax than they would have been under the intended Stage 3 tax cuts.

As to the other ( cultural ) issues, do you think the importation of masses who hate Jews and hate the West and yell hatred on the Sydney Opera House steps is any way conducive to Australian productivity or prosperity? Do you think that the weekly ant- Israel demonstrations going on in Sydney and Melbourne for months now aid our economic well-being when thousands upon thousands of Australians are thus hindered from going about their normal business? Do you think the cost of policing is free? All of these matters have economic consequences too.

And so Sidonicus if it's all about the economy, Albanese is heading for a hiding.
