Ever heard the saying it’s always darkest before the dawn? Menicon have been pissing about with trial opticians in just the Netherlands for 18 months now but always have had the scale to push the ‘GO’ button properly when they see fit.

this is the main game day 1 as far as I’m concerned and other markets such as Germany won’t be far behind as I have already posted there recruiting roles in preparation for this. Menicon distribute in UK alone to as many opticians as Naturalvue have today.

this is not only geographically instant scale but accompanied by significant advertising campaign the like of which a $700m revenue company can target but VTI cannot.

So 1st March 2022. Menicon launches bloom day to UK, France, Spain, Italy, Austria, Australia and Singapore all at the same time accompanied by a ‘powerful and impressive advertising campaign titled see their imagination bloom’

won’t change the world tomorrow share price wise but I think now the next 12 months is still a significant possibility for sentiment change rather than 24 months plus. The key driver being the first Menicon restocking order for bloom day. (The first original stocking order was $500k from memory and has largely sat in a warehouse until now waiting for this week and COVID to be over)
