So just to complete the German update, why might Menicon choose Germany to further launch Bloom Day and what is the size of the market compared to VTIs existing 2,000 odd US distribution?
well Menicon products are already sold in the two largest German Optician chains:
1) Apollo Optik which currently has 880 branches
2) Fielmann which currently has 605 branches
so if their existing customers take up the Menicon Bloom offering that’s 1,485 opticians in total virtually doubling VTIs global distribution footprint. And in only ONE European country. Menicon distribution is European wide
