Yes zinc moving up in price - as it will - would be great.
The news on Nonning is of interest for I think there is a pattern emerging: TZN is looking for additional prospects in Australia and Algeria - and probably elsewhere too. So what? Well my theory is that in 2011 when the zinc price is expected to be much higher TZN will have two mines or be very pregnant with the second. I would think there is also a chance that Menninnie will be in prospect of production. OK, then TZN will look an inviting cherry to mid-tier companies ... but, with some active prospects, as Nonning etc would be, it will look a bit more expensive.
What did KM say in the SMH the other day? He has no plans "to sell anytime soon". Any time soon? That choice of words suggests to me he is thinking subconsciously if not more consciously of an eventual sale. And then he'd want that cherry to be a punnet.
