ACEMINER, I’m in my motor home at Karumba. If gold poured under 1,000 ounces have a “self-dressing auto-lock straight jacket “ that Auto Unlock in 48 hours. I’ll be right then. I’ll put in on at 8.30 am tomorrow before the market opens just in case they announce before the market opens. Then I just press auto lock. I’m not sure who will be hyperventilating the most, the Mundy, Dundee mine manager, lord Byron or me. If under 1,000 ounces all 3 will need an auto jacket or a vest. Anyway, jokes aside it will be the defining day for all involved and a day that will define “survival or bust” and It will be a career-ending day for a couple of people if not a Minimum of 1,000 ounces. Big & immediate changes will need to be made. We really need 1500 ounces says “Oldcar” just to break even, but if we can do 1,000 today and 1,000 in 7 days, and 1,000 every 7 days, we may be in with a chance. Although Oldcar says processing costs $1m for every 7-day pour, plus, mining and trucking and admin costs. So 1,000 ounces $2.6m less selling costs, refining, and commission I imagine will probably leave us a little in the red but there’s always next week. Only thing is, TBA can’t report gold pour every 7 days, so we will have to wait for the quarterly report end on Jan 23 to see how we are going in real terms. Nerve rattling mentalis, but alas, defibrillator within arms reach. Filed down all sharp objects. ACEMINER, thanks for all the tips.
