Im not across the norilsk story (will read up about it) but regardless, I cannot see how this taints his credentials. when it comes to mining projects, whether a project is fully realised or not - very rarely comes down to the actions of single individual. im sure you're aware there are a plethora of other factors involved.
what is important to take from his credentials (at this stage of exploration) is the fact that he does have a wealth of knowledge specific to the area that has been peer-reviewed.
and no pareneuve - that does not mean getting likes on Hot copper.
