Angled RC multi-bench GC is bog standard mining practice in narrow vein open pit mining.
Your Resource drilling has already located the orebody and provides input into determining grade and tonnes. GC drilling tightens the limits of the boundary and grade domains. Angled holes will pierce the ore body on the hangingwall side and exit on the footwall side. 1m composite samples down hole will give a couple of samples across the ore zone.
A 1mx1m vertical GC pattern (using percussion drill?) is an insane waste of time, money and effort for a result that would be unreliable at best.
