It’s got to be a BUY BACK of IGO by IGO or the whole board may as well go and let the whales run the Company. No amount of divvies will d et make up for the capital losses of shareholders due to inaction by the board of IGO. Blind Freddy can see what needs to be done. I’mJust not sure that this board thinks like the FMG board who slaughtered the shorters and algorithm whales with their aggressive buy FMG company buyback and Twiggy personally, buying FMG shares. ( an ASX listed company can buy its own shares back (called a Buyback) if they believe their shares are undervalued . It reduces the amount of shares out in the marketplace and tightens the market and outs the squeeze of the shorters and whales, who play at the expense of loyal & long term shareholders.)Maybe if the IGO board sit on their hands and do nothing but collect their salary, then they should all take a hit on their salaries as well. Penalty, for not looking after the wealth and wellbeing of their once valued shareholders. Seems since the departure of the founding CEO, seems strategies have gone with him. It’s like IGO has lost its way corporately. A ship without a rudder, as to speak. Everyone can see by the recent posts on HC that we are under siege from the two or three algorithm players & whales, but not a shot fired from the IGO boards bunker. They must be hunkered in their bunker, shivering inside with fear. WTF! Do we do? It’s certainly ripe now for an aggressive cash takeover. Slashed 50% in 4 months. Unless some “return fire action”, Mr Vella will be “walking the plank” if you don’t know what they means? Look it up. Maybe Vella and the whole IGO board needs a blood transfusion from Twiggy Forrest.
