Hey @Greenhill7 I'm not an expert in the field or anything, but yes it is used for depression. Neurofeedback is being trialled with many condition where there is altered frontal cortical activity. Some studies are also pairing this technology with Hemoencephalography (HEG) which aims to increase the blood flow to the frontal cortical areas for even better results.

It's hard to know what effects this is having on the deeper brain structures involved in reward pathways that are altered in depression.

I think the bottom line is that we have some idea, 'theories' of how it works, but nothing concrete yet. Still, we are seeing promising results. Hopefully with time and the data collected from this company and others we will have a better idea of what is going on.
