Mention in Perseus Quarterly

I found it a little interesting to hear a question on BYR in the Perseus Quarterly Conference Call this morning. An analyst from UBS asked if Perseus was watching the drill results from BYR. The CEO said that they were very impressed by what they had seen so far and were continuing to monitor activities (although it is early stages).

After doing a little sniffing around and taking a look at the drill results I decided to take a small position in BYR. Normally I don't get involved this early but there are a few things that I like here, in particular:

- The experience of the the chairman and Mark Calderwood in the area and the involvement with Kibali.
- A few funds taking positions in the last couple of days and Mark Calderwood buying on-market. The fact that it was even mentioned by an analyst from UBS appears out of the ordinary.
