I think you didn't follow the post replied to our friend 'squidd' which I acknowledged the fact that GJ & GC mentioned that other parties are coming to the table. However, the point of my post before was that SDL should not be focusing too much to the "up to 5 Chinese parties" interested to be partners in the Project - for reasons I already mentioned in my previous post.

And you're right the Chinese did have a go with RIO - but unfortunately, RIO did not need the Chinese in the same category as SDL, or as much (or as bad) as the budding SDL Project is at this stage.

The Chinese would treat RIO much differently than SDL mate. And RIO would treat the Chinese Investors on a different level, than what SDL is offering them (the Chinese) on the table.

Things can be difficult to understand sometimes. Anyway, Time will Tell.

I am patiently waiting, and I am sure the future will tell us what we were supposed to learn from the present and from the past.
