Today is the closing day for entitlements. So fundimentally the company has received $4.5 million dollars from its shareholders with full acceptance. Say a 90% acceptance and $4 million has been taken from the open market of current shareholders over the last week.

Closing day of entitlements normally is a recent low for a stock price due to funds been taken in by the company instead of staying in the market, the dilution effect, profit taking if trading above the rights/entitlement price and market acceptance of a company estimate of share value via the strike price of the entitlement.

Charts show true history of a stocks shareprice and as such can also offer a prediction of duplication of their history or change and continuation of trends.

Generally potential buyers are buying the entitlements and not shares on the market while sellers can only sell on the market. Add additional entitlement sellers taking an instant profit and the SP follows the supply demand scenario.
Closing day can be an excellant day for buying on market if you wish to become a new shareholder of the company.
Generally on closing day current company shareholders are fully weighted in the company if there is a profit to be made by buying rights/entitlements.

The strenght that GGP has shown since October is quite exciting. It has raised $13 million + from shareholders pockets and the SP is trading 50% above its 200 day moving average and 21-26% above todays strike price. Add the last few days volume which is BELOW normal daily turnover then it not to hard to work out
A\ Buyers are taking up the entitlements and are off market
B\ Sellers are not desperate to sell at the current price

264 million new shares are coming to market and there will be 2,200,000,000 shares in shareholders pockets and daily turnover is not 10 million on some days. Looks like a sellers strike but wheres there is a profit there is usually a sale.

    Interesting day a week ahead
