I just love Slide 8 titled "Focused Strategy"

The Focus is where ? - when under siege and digging in what is your focus

Survival to throw more money down a hole somewhere

It is a brilliant slide as it has a Roman Forum theme

It has 5 columns holding up the Roof
But the Forum Romanum has 6 in the front porch

Don't despair because CUBA is there
And MEO has some staff with experience in Cuban-style geology
Is that the Rhumba we hear

And there is the once producing Puka Oil

All the management sophisticated words you need to fend off the Mosman are there

Risk managed
Rapid expansion
Leverage quality
Strict financial
Strong core

A bit of RM+RE+LQ+SF+SC = = = ?
Wait a minute! that is an algebraic model so far too simple.
We need some exponents for a power law model consistent with observed complexity

When you look at the share price since MEO was born it reminds you of a
spectrum analyser display with big peaks where the money was flowing and desolation
when RESULTS spoke the truth

I am surprised that the struggle is still underway
