I believe the Uni of Newcastle is set to produce one or more videos where Prof. Vinu will explain in laymen's terms what his research is all about incl. carbon capture, hydrogen storage etc.
One thing to say is that he has already done a lot of research using carbon nanotubes, so this is not necessarily early stage research into a brand new technology. CNTs sell for about USD$30,000t so you can see why HNTs at $5000t is appealing.
Another thing is that CNTs are carcenogenic so can't be used in drug delivery in humans whereas HNTs are not.
I think the 50% of NNPL is a real sleeper for MEP. We just don't know enough yet to put a value on it.
