I think you're missing the point, how can BRN release an announcement about MB using Akida if they don't know exactly what MBs plans are, because MB may be dealing with Valeo for example.
In answer to your chart, BRN made the Valeo announcement 18 months ago. That's when this in effect was announced because MB being a Valeo customer were thus a potential customer of BRN products. The market was aware.
