woody your voice is not "based on" a physical being.
in this context the 1st object or person must have the subject matter incorporated into the 1st object or person. For example the movie Holocaust is based on the true story of Hitler. Being the movie actually has actual citing be it footage or reenactments. However in yr rather comical context (to which i would love to hear yr voice "resemble"(not based on) one of Bee Gees. But yr sentence cannot be true as your physical being has not got a physical component (be it a piece of evidence or material subject) though it may resemble the sound of one of the beegees. Meaning a component even small must be inorporated to use the words based on.
