Mercedes uses Akida, page-98

So here's the interesting question. Is Mercedes using their technology directly, or are they using a subsystem provided by an OEM? If the former, was Brainchip aware that this information was being made publically available? If the latter could there have already been a price-sensitive announcement that was made prior to a vendor providing this subsystem?

Unfortunately, I do not know the exact rules behind determining what and when an announcement should be made and what would be considered timely for an announcement when Brainchip would first learn that any use of its IP or product would be announced. Perhaps there is someone in the forums who has researched the nuances of the rules of the ASX markets regarding announcement requirements.

I'm pretty sure there are some caveats as to when these announcements should be made. Maybe one day it rains in California and a rainbow ends at the building in which Brainchip is located causing thousands of superstitious people to buy stock in the company, I'm pretty sure an announcement wouldn't have been expected.

However, I still think it's great that out of all of the potential "competitors", they still chose Brainchip's solutions while touting one of its well-advertised benefits.
