adverse affect,, no imho
i think there are several ways this can be overcome with minimal effect, like multi tier merchant usage,
like if you choose to pass on costs you wont get direct adverts during premium sales (afterpay day, click frenzy)
data referals for looked at items or similar items from customers list goes on. (can have a basic merchant and premium merchant conditions)
lets say without that and merchants can pass on the fee
(as described today by some downrampers typical user is millennial who cant afford or budget)
sir you afterpay purchases of this $100 shirt will incur a 4% charge resulting in your repayments being higher by $1 per fortnight. ($0.50 per week)
only a very small % are putting the shirt back
all in my opinion of course
