    How about Harvey normans margins is 26% - but thats mainly because of the franchisee model where the holding company takes a bunch of fees from the franchisees with very little capital outlay. City Chics are about 13% (Fashion Retailer)

    Where are these magical 40% margins you speak of? Why dont you provide me with some retailers who have 40% margins? or are you just making nonsense up.
