Not commenting in particular on amalgam fillings, except to say they haven't been used in a long time now, and studies have shown that leaving them in involves a whole lot less mercury release than taking them out (the drill generates a lot of fine dust)... but Joe Mercola is an extraordinarily dangerous quack who has caused the deaths of many cancer patients by convincing them to avoid/give up chemotherapy. Handle with care.
