Is it just me or does the proposed merger seem a little too...

    Is it just me or does the proposed merger seem a little too cosy, given Gail Kelly's history with St George. The 28.5% premium seems slightly lower than expected but received strong and immediate support from the St George board.

    Don't get me wrong, IMO a merger would benefit both companies but I think another bidder would ensure the true market value is established.
