Have any of you who keep complaining about the EGX deal even read up much on the company? Their technology is great for both short and long term revenues. They have already completed collaboration deals with GSK late last year

"Under the agreement, EvoGenix utilised its protein optimisation technology, EvoGeneTM, to
develop improved versions of a protein product from the GSK pharmaceutical pipeline. The
protein variants generated had improvements in affinity that exceeded the 20-fold goal
specified in the collaboration agreement."

The point is that this deal makes two good companies even better and EGX has plenty to bring to the table in terms of technology. You wouldnt have gotten a lower price out of EGX because alot of the shareholders are true believers in the technology and they wouldn't have budged.

Of course its dissapointing that PTD didnt get a magical takeover offer but it doesnt change the outlook of the company to a bad one.
