But each of these offer efficiencies (less licenses, maintenance and headcount) and every dollar saved can be used to rebrand and attack Telstra's base. I've just gone over to TPG nbn and plan to leave Telstra mobile when my contract ends later this year.
If TPM play it smart, get their ducks in line and position themselves to bundle services I personally think they can be in a position to seriously hurt Telstra within 18 months. I've been with TLS for 20+ years and as a business customer still don't have a single bill across broadband and mobile.
I have never received a special deal to bundle my services across fixed and mobile. The only bundling offer they pushed (again and again) was for Foxtel including the Sky News propaganda service (thanks but no thanks).
Think about that. The only bundled service that TLS offered a retail (then business) customer in 20 years was for a related third party. My personal opinion is that after some time to sort themselves out, TPM are going to increasingly seriously hurt what's left of the TLS bottom line.
