I didn't give Captain B a TU because I don't believe the merger is a disaster for tls,the opposite as posted. But I agree with the post ie cherry picking. Combined ,the merged entity has plenty of spectrum with the important auction coming up end of 2021. My issue with the merger is tpg has a fixed network under pressure from nbn just like tls but also competes with nbn?nbn lost approx $2.1b 1h 2020 .tpg is competing with the govt we know how that worked out for tls. Then we have the disinterested partners that own the growth division of the merged entity ie vodafone and hutchinson. hmm so teoh's apparently chairman trying to work with these 2 disinterested global gorillas?should b interesting. And i'm still trying to understand y some suggest tpg may pay a special div?my understanding all 3 have empty pockets and profits are flat and negative in the case of vodafone and hutchison.
