ACCC didn't prove that TPG has the inclination (or capital) to build another mobile network.

In fact, the ACCC's own witness said that a TPG network would be greatly inferior to other networks due to technical issues -- which further validates the TPG position. Why would they do a CR to build a crappy network, then somehow offer services at a cheaper price than the big players.

If anything, a merger rejection will probably see Vodaphone collapse as they have never made a profit and are technically insolvent. If the Australian economy can't support 3 profitable mobile networks, how could it support 4?

If the ACCC wins, it could lead to a mobile duopoly, which will be advantageous to TLS and very bad for Australian consumers. The ACCC is incompetent imo.
