Agreed, regarding the SPP subscription to this point.
The question is details will be released, how well it will be received by the marketplace, and what happens to the SP on Monday and Tuesday. PLT's release indicated they want to be trading Monday morning.
If details looked particularly attractive and the SP went to (let's say) the 15c-20c range, the SPP would suddenly look a lot more attractive. Not much time perhaps, but you don't need a lot of time. I think most people would use B-Pay anyway wouldn't they, or if a cheque was sent by Tuesday (whenever it actually arrives) I can't imagine them sending it back.
Time will tell. It's all a matter of the details and the market's reaction.
