I know it has been commented on many times but, honestly, how can it be that a merger of 'equals' gives the vote to only ONE of the two merging companies? Little wonder OH didn't want Ox shareholders to have the vote. He, no doubt, knew what our response would be. And I thought shareholders were the owners of publicly listed companies?
Give OH even more of the company's resources as a retirement gift? After he and his board's decision which effectively locked our Oxiana shareholders from any say and has had the immediate effect of ripping out enormous value from our retirement funds, you have to be joking. He has been very, very well rewarded for past efforts.
Indded, I think he should return some of those shares we voted as reward for effort due to his final snub to Oxiana shareholders. He must be laughing all the way to the bank.
