- Bendigo Bank (BEN) –Suncorp (SUN) is interested in a merger with Bendigo Bank (BEN) according to The Australian. It has been suggested that no deal is currently in the works but could present next year. Suncorp has reportedly previously made a failed attempt to buy Bendigo at a 21% market premium.
I've never known a merger to be a merger,(I've been through 7 in 26 years on both sides of the fence) there is always a dominant party so it always turns out to be a takeover.
Wondered why the price was positive but the banks are due a bounce/run up based on the XFJ chart
