The article I read, stated it wasn't the right time for a merger because of certain factors (maybe BOQ's new acquisition & something on the SUN side, sorry memory fails me). I would say it's off the tables for the short term.
Also the heading of this thread is misleading. There was no merger to fail. 'Merger explored' would be more appropriate.
