MERGER WITH CAMBRIAN MINING PLC
The Company advises that the Supreme Court of Victoria today approved the scheme of arrangement
between the Company and its shareholders and the scheme of arrangement between the Company and
its option holders.
An office copy of the Court’s orders was lodged with the Australian Securities and Investments
Commission today. Accordingly, the schemes of arrangement are now effective and binding on all
shareholders and option holders.
The Record Date for both schemes will be 4.00 p.m. on 24 September 2004. Completion of both
schemes will occur within 5 business days after the Record Date.
