Hey Roo, cheers for your thoughts. I have been slowly added a few shares when possible (even before the merger completed), even if PTN is unlikely to do anything dramatic in the near term like a major drilling program, but... the upside is considerable, especially if PTN do what I think they will (consolidate assets around the PXX assets, because... cash is king and so is critical mass, which I don't believe yet exists).
POG moving higher all the time just makes the W.A gold assets more valued, when... they are currently valued at zero, like all of PTNs assets. I say just sell to GMD, be done with it and get on with the exciting part of the portfolio (could net them $25-60m -yeah... very wide ballpark).
I understand the wet season slows drilling in the north, but it does not affect deal making at all.
@fbx258 - again I am here for the silver, the cash and... the low downside risk (oh, the Uranium is a nice bonus).
PTN is yet to wake up, but... if as some other posters alluded to regarding them having to step quietly whilst the merger occurred, things should be changing soon (but... the market wants everything done quickly I guess).
