Based on the total number of shareholders that voted (2019), a per the outcome announcement, and the comment by Peter Coleman that around 2000 proxy votes had been received prior to the final votes in the actual meeting, it would seem that circa 70% of those proxy votes as per the "headcount test" would have "already" been in favour. The fact that he failed to provide an update on the headcount tally, whilst revealing the "votes" tally, and THEN even refusing to reveal the headcount tally when asked by a shareholder, is mind boggling, imo. They were seemingly BOTH "strongly" in favour at that time. Why only focus on the "90%" number and hide the "70%" number?
Still a dodgy act imo, and he has now totally lost my confidence, fwiw!
Anyway, now the Livent holders vote later tonight, and then we move forward.... Onwards and upwards in any case, imo. (Just watch Graves and co up their remuneration and bonuses shortly, inline with the "bigger company"!)
GLA, hopefully our (AKE) cash won't be redirected from SDV and JB anytime soon, with some "brainwave" from the new money shufflers.
imo dyor
