No...Post merger you would have to trade on the NYSE for Newco shares. There is a window in the Scheme document for you transfer your holding to the foreign register. But this would mean opening a US account etc. Also consider the extra paperwork with CDIs. CDI holders will have to complete tax residency declarations as well as Withholding tax forms for the IRS
