If the shareholders vote this down, then how can the board who all supported it possibly stay on?
The ridiculous transactional costs as well as AKE’s stock seemingly being hit much harder than PLS( which is also heavily shorted) are not a good look just before a vote.
Will a better offer or any offer come before December 19?
Surely there can be no better time to put in a TO offer. If a board suspects there is going to be revolt by shareholders, then accepting a low ball offer is a way to save face.
