Good for you for voting but ... you do realise that Livent owns 50% of the Whabouchi hard rock project in Quebec? And that Allkem has dominant positions on three major salars in Argentina? True that Allkem has Mt Cattlin hard rock mine in WA which is an absolute cash cow for now but is nearing its end days and has the James Bay hard rock project in Quebec. However I reckon Allkem's main point of advantage is that with Olaroz, Cauchari and Sal de Vida it will be a major brine player for decades to come.
A key attraction for Orocobre to "acquire" James Bay and Mt Cattlin in its merger with Galaxy was so that they did not have all of their eggs in the brine basket. But if I was looking for exposure to hard rock lithium production I would not consider Allkem, more likely something like Pilbara or Patriot or Winsome or one of the up and coming WA hard rock miners.
