Just commenting on the fact that the room is surveyed before announcements like this are made. The green light was given long ago (unofficially) subject to a better offer which hasn't happen. Plus the legal fees are payable and break fees depending on who pulls out. Its a goer. Also the share price has come back significantly over the months...Shareholders should now have a good feel for what the deal is about. There are pluses and minuses for AKE shareholders but its starting to look attractive imo. The negatives of owning CDIs may be outweighed by capital growth after Newco stock settles post merger.
