I noticed a few posters saying when the new company lists on the NYSE... Well reading all this made me think back to when ORO and GXY merged. The sentiment was a lot more positive back then with a few dissenters. I myself wasn't so sure, but I was happy to be corrected. What a contrast with this proposed merger today. Of course, HC is but a small reflection of total holdings, but reading the room... I reckon there is now more than a fair chance this might get voted down on the basis of the 50% rule (assuming the company will honour this rule). 75% of total holdings is no small feat either - you only need 2 significant holders to vote against and it can quickly become touch n go. It wouldn't be the first time in the Lithium sector of a rejection of sorts. Of course I could have egg on my face. Time will tell. For disclosure I voted NO.
