While I think the CGT situation is a shambles and the fundamental valuations seem off, one thing to consider is how far off LTHM is from their all time high compared to us.
They are about 63% down vs our 50%. There is certainly a US listing premium.
If they could guarantee no CGT implications then I think I would vote yes. Providing more clarification around this needs to be a priority, otherwise this is equivalent to a horrendous hostile takeover from the perspective of an Australian holder.
