my understanding goes as far as
1) make bigger capitalized company, therefore appear on radar of instos
2) the PDF strcuture is preventing LSG from investing in projects the way it wants to. thats why they made AUS in the first place. But apparently AUS isnt going as well as theyd hoped, so they are rolling it all back into one and abandoning the PDF structure
3) they seem to think that the environment is ripe for one big company that can act outside the restrictions of the PDF structure
4) they have proably done a lot more thinking about what is best for the company than me, and if they thinks its a good idea, so do I
